This pack looks like a steal though-

Thanks for all the help guys.

It looks to me like the wires come out the top left corner which is no good for the type R as the wires will hit the belts.

So my JRXS type R is my first sedan. Ive raced this thing a total of 4 times. This hater at the local carpet track is kinda funny. This guy beat me with a XXXs my second time racing cause my tuning was fairly whack at the time, and it was heavily undergeared, i was also racing 64mm foams. Since then, this guy has been trying to hussle me into buying his XXXs off of him. He tells me my car is old and out of date, and need a current sedan like his RTR XXXs. Ive politely been saying no, and my tuning is MUCH better these days. He doesn't race his sedan often, but the next time he does i want to smoke this guy SO bad i can taste it!

Not much, just take out the pulley w/balls and replace with the spool pulley and tighten.

Remove front diff.... Take diff loosen and remove diff pully with balls.... Wipe clean "all" diff lube on rings..Install spool pully in place of diff pully..re-assemble.. Tighten down real good..Reinstall..Go Racing..Best $5 you can spend....

With regard to the rear ball diff, when i have it in the car and adjusted,i can grab the pulley and rock it side to side.
It has more play than i think it should. This is my first belt drive,so i'm unfamiliar with an exposed pulley.
Is this normal???
I imagine it would rub the chassis as it loads and unloads with throttle input.
Any help would be appreciated.....

Do you suppose you can flip the pack around so the wires will branch out around the spur?

Sorry if the question seems dumb, it would just suck if i couldn't run an 90 dollar pack with the same preformance as a 120 dollar pack.

Maybe you forgot to inlude the O-ring that secures the diff to the bearings in the eccentric assembly?

I don't think you could do that with out cutting a big hole in your top deck maybe theres a way you can cut the case so the wires come out the side in stead of the top but its a 90 dollar mistake if you cann't get it to work

Sounds like the diff ring is not setting on the outdrive properly, sometimes the D ring will strip on the outdrive and it will bulge a little bit and cause this, you might want to pull it apart and make sure the outdrive does not have the D ring index stripped out.

the parma jrxs bumper works, you can also rig a brp xxx-s bumper on, a couple people at my track did this with some of the first production (aka, VERY WEAK) models. Hope this helps.
