Thanks for the replys on the Lipo fit issue guys. I'll show this page to my buddy. I only have 2 battery packs right now and one of them is a Racers Edge 5000 with a hard case... I'm thinking of letting him try it to see what happens...

The Trakpower 4900 is the gold one right?

Ok, so here's what my car is currently looking like. Dont laugh at the crappy camera phone pics, I'm holding out for a Nikon DSLR.

Speed Passion GT 1.1, 17.5, supercap, Futaba BLS451, etc. and its still a drift car. Went to the track today, I'm thoroughly convinced that its just too light. I've got some Lipo Lead on the way so I'm hoping that might improve things.

Not literally. It just looks like I'm drifting around the track because my car is not dialed yet.

I know it is hard to wire this car, but has anybody came up with a nice clean wire job? When I had my standard JRXS I shoe good a piece of heat shrink tubing to the chassis and used it like a piece of conduit for my wires. Made the car look really clean wihtout haveing wires poping out all over the place. I will look for a picture of it maybe I can find it.

Nothing, looks like everybody elses. That wasn't the question. Does anybody have a car that doesn't have wires hung out the side of the car?

You're funny dude. If the wires hanging off the side bothers you, this guys doesnt look too bad. I know I can do a better job with mine, but priority numero uno is to get the handling set first.

Go back to post #6498 and you can see it better.

Rapid fire question time. 1) Whats the deal with the one dot and two dots on the shock tops? All four of my shocks have only one dot. The manual says one dot goes on one side and two dots on the other. Since all four of mine are the same I think I'm okay, but I would still like to know what the difference is?
2) Does MIP make CVD's that fit the Type R? These LCD's are about the most jank thing that I've seen. I have rebuilt the LCD's twice, and both times I have had to mix and match old parts with new, assemble, disassemble, then reassemble because of them either binding or being too sloppy. I dont run a spool so I dont care about the chatter they may eliminate. With MIP's, you open the bag, put em together and you're done. All techno-babble aside, you tell me which one looks more solid?

3) How cool would your Type R look if you did this to it?

I've seen an Xray with green anodized aluminum, but never a Losi.
