I came out there to practice with my TT-01 did not even know you guys were racing so I watched for a while then left. Should have asked Billy who you were so I could take a look at your Type R. I will be out there on the 3rd of may if not sooner. Wife is giving me some freedom away from looking at homes to buy.

I'm already on the softest springs. I tried laying then rear shocks down but it just slowed the reaction down. A longer rear link was better but again I lost reaction

Go up in rear spring rate. What is your setup. And track type. I'll probably be able to diagnose the problem. I found that on my car if I run less than 15lb springs the rear dumps over and lose traction when you get on the gas.

Larry can you post your latest rubber tire outdoor setup? I ran my car outdoors for the first time with Schref's set up from the C and it was not that good. I wanted at least a starting point. I went down on spring and sway bar. But the rear was loose on corner exit. And pushed going into the turn.

Thanks,

I'm running the Rippon setup. Its so close to being right but just a little loose on corner exit. I can seem to get all the steering I need but not enough rear end.

Can someone please help me out with gearing selection? I am running a gt 1.1 with a SP 17.5 when they come out. I already have pinions 47-56, but what size spurs will I need? If one could give me a range of about 5-8 spurs I will need so I can buy them I would appreciate it!

If you're running the PRS adapter I think you can go down to like 108. Definitely no smaller as the motor won't fit. I ran a 13.5 and ran like 112 - 43 I think. The 17.5 will need to go substantially bigger. I'd buy one or two and try them first, but given your pinion range I'd go on the smaller size. If you do the Losi spurs I think they only go to 118. Those spurs are fine though if you can get a big enough pin on them.

Thanks,
Hey Kevin, try this setup. It's Schref's from last year's Express PORC at Jackson RC. It should be better suited for what you're looking for. The Coliseum is like no other asphalt track, the traction is insane.
