Does any body use maxapms and could tell me about the quality or recommend other brand of lipo.
Nelarozi something is not right in your car to achive so little running time.

I use Trakpower 4900 lipo with Mamba 6900 motor and I run more than 10 minutes in a 1/8 scale track, driving fast with my type-R. (with the 7700 motor I achived 9,5 minutes in the same track)

two weeks ago I race with a GM Evo3 9,5T in a national event and after drive 5 minutes i put back in my Trakpower only 2000mah. I was driving fast in a big 1/8 scale track.

Does anybody have an information how much can the MP 6000mah putout. And another question, what kind of balancing connector is compatable with polyquest connector?
Nelarozi how are you judging the 2800mah at 15A? In the car or on the bench?

I did it on a bench with robitronic overloader. First i chared them so they were completly full, and than i putted them on discharge at 15A. So I think the LRP lipo batteries are bad. That's why i am asking about the Maxamp Lipos, because i don't know their quality.

Default Steering Throw Symmetry

Steering Throw Symmetry, how many degrees would you suggest setting this with a Futaba S9452?

Thanks

I know PRS quit making their spur gear adapter, but if anyone still needs one I found some from this Asian retailer. It looks like all they have left are the ones sold with the Pro-Lite spur combo.

Nelarozi,
It could be that your lipo just needs to be balanced. I've noticed a lot of guys recently that have had that problem. If you don't have a balancing charger you can do it manually by just tapping into the center port and discharging each cell to 3.0V. You must watch this process very closely but it does seem to work.

Max Amps packs are very good. The 6000mah pack should fit fine in the Type R. They are much cheaper, too.

Do you think they are better than the core lipos?

as for being sponsored by maxamps (and even if i wasnt) this is for me the only battery of choice for the type r! i love the runtime and "if" u need a certain spec weight car you only need to maybe add a little to it.

CORE packs are the best 20C packs in the market right now, IMHO.

day one of qualifying at the carpet nats is over and I'm sitting 4th in 13.5 rubber, 2-6 is seperated by about 2 seconds so it's very tight. I've got a little more speed in the car I need to unlock and I'll be set for tomorrow.

I notice losi dose that in several manuals (conflicting from others and offroad as well). I stick with the xray setup book for reference (seems to be the easist and truest Ive found).
Confusing, I know...........
