Small question on step E-03 of the building manual.
How much do you tighten the servo saver nut.

If i measure it i have about 0.164 inches (4.18 mm) space between
the underside of the nut and the upper side of the servo saver arm.
(its the space where you can see the spring wire that i am measuring).

Thanks:-)

FYI,
Just to save everyone else the problem of stripping a servo horn, KO servos use a 23 tooth horn and not a 25 like the manual states. I should have known better when I had to use the screw to get the horn on and the steering was constantly off trim after hitting something, but you know what they say about hindsight.

I have never measured it, but id suggest making it snug to the point where if you hold the servo arm with your finger, you can just move a wheel by hand and see the saver "give". You could also turn on the car, and set it just loose enough to give a little when you turn the wheel by hand, but make sure it is still tight enough to center properly.

That's pretty simple. I don't think I ever told Todd to throw it up there and that was before Losi had their new site and started posting setup sheets. I'm sure Larry and I will be coming up with new asphalt settings when we get to play outdoors again. With all the knowledge we've gained from having a whole season on the car now, it should be a great summer.

depending on the track you race at they just might work.i have been to many places and i have went back and forth using the 4 and 6.....in all honesty 4 seems to be the best under any traction conditions.
