Man I don't know and I'm afraid to ask. Maybe you should ask and see what he says. It sure would be nice to have the Coolio diff parts in my ride. I have heard soo many great things about Todd that I would expect he could help us out. LOL

Hey guys,

I am sorry I was not around during the actual release of the car last Thursday. I was off to Tucson to do some running with the new car at Competition Hobbies in Tucson, AZ. That place is awesome. I wish I lived closer. The crew at CH is the best!

I went there with the first pre production Type R to do some foam tire testing for Vegas. The first pack the car was instantly better than my protoype 3 deck car. We raced the club race on Friday night and the car worked great. I TQ'd and won quite easily. On Saturday was the actuall "Road to Vegas" Race. Again I was able to set TQ over Barry by 2 seconds. In the main the car again ran awesome and I was able to win the main by a fair margin over Barry. Almost a lap!! I will give Barry props he smoked me in the rubber tire class however I was running my proto 3 deck car and was really focused on my foam car.

As far as setup I ran the setup that is coming in the kit. I think all of you will find that the car will be extremely easy to drive fast once it hits the market.

One question is the price you have on the Losi web site accurate cos if it is its a big dollar car and might scare some people. not me though ill have two
(ill need them the way i drive )

That price is the minimum advertised price. That is the lowest price that a shop can advertise the price of the car in magazines, fliers, etc. However the shops are free to sell the car at any price they feel necessary. It is a way Team Losi and Horizon protect its dealers. I think it will be a bit cheaper than that. The JRXS was MAP priced at $359.99 and sold for 309.99 at some shops.

am i the last to know of any announcements on this car's release? i got some screen shots (saved in 3 files) and pasted them onto word documents for you guys to see. right click and save the attachment then when you open the file, just stretch the images to enlarge them and make them readable. if this is true ....which i hope, i along with many others will be very excited to have one in our hands soon!

Mr. Hodge: care to comment?
More like October. Our original goal was September however that has been changed.

Now if I only had a reason to buy one...
Support parts will be a lot cheaper with this ride!
