I would try this first. I'm not sure how it will be with a 10.5 but in 19t and 27t its great. If you lack a bit of back end traction raise the rear roll centre a tiny bit using some 0.75mm shims.
thanks

hey guys.i know i asked earlier but i really need a set-up using a front one-way for rubber tire on carpet.
i am currently using the book set-up.that is the page for page set-up which i think is the foam tire set-up.i used 1mm of droop in the front and 2 in the back. i am using 40 oil instead of 50 oil.
i am using cs-22 tire to make traction.has plenty of steering but was wanting to try a one-way to see how it works.
i will post a link to a track video and maybe you all can look at it and lmk if the track looks one-way friendly?

thx,
matt

Too bad that track isn't closer or I might come up to run some rubber tire carpet. Maybe once I are house is sold I can make it up to race sometime. Did you try RP30's yet?

brian,
i did try a set of cs-27 but the car was very pushy.i do have a set of rp-30 that are used but i didnt try them yet.as soon as i bought the cs-22 the car was awesome...was just wanting to try a set-up with the one-way to see if i can get better times.the fastest lap there was a 12.043 or something and mine was a 12.356 or something...the car is good now...like i said i just wanted to try a one-way to see if its faster...

I am guessing the tires he has on that setup are Jaco Greens. Reason being they were the control tire in LV for IIC. They work fine on carpet and in fact I think they are better then CS or RP imo. I have run CS 22's on carpet and they seem to do well. I ran a setup I got from Jason Schreffler for asphalt and the only change I made to it was the JR Link and one way. I used it with a spool on asphalt and it was stuck.

Did you switch back to the standard link from the JRlink?

Default anyone????

recently I have broke a front right arm, so I have replaced them with older style graphite arms..... I have also fliped the suspension blocks as well (front+back)
but left the rear ones the same as it was.

has anyone left it that way and kept driving?
would it be better to order the newer style arms being more beefier now?

I have tried the "search botton" and haven't really found the direct answer...

thanx guys

The setup Jason gave me called for standard link which actually gave it more steering then what I wanted or could drive, so I went back the the JR Link.

Just a reality check here. Are you guys doing 50/50 balance left to right and front to rear?
