STLNLST - shouldn't you be looking for a better belt for your car?

My R was dialed today!! I ran just a regular club race with it, TQ'd and won stock. Times I was putting down with it would have allowed me to place 3rd in 19t!! My average speed in it was not far of the winner in 19t. It was the best it has been since I have owned it and I want to thank Schreff for helping me getting it setup to run so well. I spent a good deal talking to him through IM but it was all well worth it. I just now hope it runs this well in LV on rubber and I will be very happy with it. I am loving this car!!

Hi all you tc guys. I'm an 1/8 scale offroad nitro guy. have been for a while now. But a local RC club as rented out a spot at the local mall to setup a carpet track. I just jumped off the deep end and bought a JRXS-R and some maxamps 7.4v 4000mah lipo packs. I have made a decision on the lrp tc spec spedo but what motor would you suggest? i see they have 2 combos one with a 3.5 and one with a 4.5 whats is your choice? the track will be about 50 x 85
any other setup help would be greatly appreciated
thanks guys
tony

front to rear is actually 60/40? I can see the lipo 'core 5000' on your car.

got my first taste of the type R on carpet, REEEAAALLY good It was just a practice day so the bite wasn't too high but this car is 100 times better than the original JRXS.

ps what is the low down on keeping in check with the temp of the electric motor? to much load = to much heat. I see that being a bad thing. But is there a so say optimal temp for electric motors? I see where the gearing would play a huge roll in that.
thanks guys
