Got XRAY ones in my typeR. I got fed up of constantly picking up the tiny thrust balls and putting them back in the protective shield!

Hmm.. I run Xray and was planning to buy JRXS thrust bearings! Apparently they are cheaper, though apparently they are also crappier.

Cool. The LiPo tray is listed now too, though backorder only. The price seems very fair.

wait, dogbones? what?

this car is great, until it comes to the plastic parts. ballcups are sloppy when they have only been put on once and the arms... well.. I had to buy more shims, lets just leave it at that. Don't know if it's just because I am used to 12th scale, but the amount of play in the suspension on this car is pathetic.

have you driven it yet?

seriously, after you get it dialed in to your liking and work on it a little bit, you won't even notice any of the little things that may be bugging you now.

Guys,

I'm having problem with my spurs, Destroyed 2 tonight. When I hit, I think the lay shaft kinda bend and strip a spur. Im running PRS Gears...

I've know replace the spur with an RW and ran it a little tighter and manage to finish the night without ruining it.

Am I the only one having this type of issue?

Thanks

Jon Gagnon

I have had this same problem. I marked my bulkhead with small markings to see if my motor was moving and it is not. I do not have a solution at this time. I suspect something is flexing on impacts, but I have done this with very light crashes.

I guess one way to test it would be to hook a motor run to the car while it is sitting on the car stand and then just try flexing the car a little and see if the gear mesh noise is changing...........
