I would not count out a spool for carpet, especially on rubber...last month i played around with spool on both rubber and foam, and had some decent results....for rubber my car was great, the foam setup was pretty close, but could have used a little more work.

I'm going to try it rubber tires on carpet. I've been required until this year to run a front diff. So I want to see what the hype is about spools and one ways. I ran the center one way in the old car and didn't like it. I never R&Ded the setup to work with it, so I can't base my judgment on that alone. Will the setup be that different? It's refreshing to hear someone got a spool to work. I look forward to trying it. I have plenty of summer left to work on it.

No doubt. I found the spool to work well on carpet/rubber. I have not tried it with foams, but am planning to do some testing.

That is truly hilarious. Is it from a movie? Some of it seems familiar.

I hate spools, just for that fact that they are always spinning the inside tire, breaking traction. I like my cars to have as much initial turn-in as possible. I am a smooth driver and a diff or spool does not suit my driving style. If Losi does not come out with a one-way, I am selling this car. I cannot make this car work without the one-way on carpet with rubber tires.

I recognized the 'you can't handle the truth' bit from that movie, but I thought the rest was made up or from other movies. It's because that movie was before you time, you see. Next time, I request that you adapt quotes from The Big Lebowski.

Todd Hodge has used a one-way in his setups before. I think Todd Hodge is keeping all the the one-ways for himself!

Last I heard the team guys had a few they would share at races but there are none in production as of yet. I PM'd Todd not too long ago and they were working on it.

i think you can take the old oneway one press out the bearings and flip them around (left to right) and then press them back in
