Hey, thats great work getting all them together!!!!

One thing though, I don't know about you but I have no idea what surface those tracks are eg, Vegas, is that carpet, tarmac, indoor, outdoor etc etc?? Any chance you could add something on so we don't have to download every sheet to find what we're after???? Cheers

Cheers JRXS_chris for the kind words.

Yep i'll look at that

I could maybe split them up for foam and rubber and then put a marker to which they are either indoor or outdoor

Cheers

Hi there

The pivot mount is what holds the Wishbones to the car, the 0 deg means that the hinge pins are parallel to each other. If you change the pivot mount to say the 2 deg, the pins would be angled outwards to give you different wishbone angles.

On the rear this changes the toe in
on the front this changes the bone angle to change the steering feel.

Hope this helps

Roll center is the height of the pivot pin

Different heights of these pins give different Center of gravity to your car, thus it changes the handling of the car.

Tim

Ps

I have now updated the setup page with a little info of each setup
ie, Inside or out, Asphalt or carpet and what tryes

Hope this helps

Cheers

Hi All.

I wanted to report in that I raced yesterday (carpet/rubber tire) with my Type R and the car was absolutely unbelievable.

For those of you on the fence trying to figure out what rubber tire car to get, this cars was out-handling almost all of the new euro purple cars that showed up.

As a newer driver (only 6 months), I am typically a middle of the pack guy as I hone my driving skills. I have such confidence with this car that I'm really giving the big boys a run for the money(and feel like I really have a shot at it).

Anyhow, at least 10 people came up to me and commented on how hooked up the car is and how well I'm driving (which I mostly contribute to how hooked up the car is).. I honestly believe my car had probably the best setup (for the conditions) at the race.

Thank You! to all of you that have that have been answering my questions on this forum..

I'll try to post soon my setup sheet (carpet-with really low traction/Rubber).

Until then, the basis to my setup are:
1: Widen the rear to max width... Period. Don't do anthying else 'till this.
2: 15lb springs all the way around.
3: Sorry no spool, just to squirly with such little traction.. Run a pretty tight Diff.
4: Low roll center front and back.

ps- did anyone come up with an editable setup sheet?.... If not, I'll work on one. Let me know.

Thanks again.

Mark

Hamster,

Did WL race today or called off to rain.

Have improved my setup for Aldershot last week with help from Jay Westwood, got to within 1 second of PB eventhough track not at its best.
Setup now makes car very constistant, but still fast.

See you at Snetterton on Sunday.
