I know I'm not Todd but if you want Graphite arms right now just run the short arms. I broke a rear arm yesterday(completely must dumb azz fault) so I used a set of the short ones. In fact I kinda like the shorter arms as my track had many tight 180's. The cheap $ arms are the EA3 material. The more expensive arms listed in your optional parts list are the old short graphite arms. The new EA 3 arms are only like $7.00 and the graphite ones are $11.00. Good luck.

I raced my R for the first time yesterday!! Yippie!!!! This car has TONS more corner speed than the old car! I started with the kit asphalt set-up but first took off the sway bars. The car was better. Then played with shock position and my buddy noticed my car rolling heavily around the tight corners. I then used the high front roll center postion and the car was awesome!!! It did make my car a bit more twitchy on the high speed sections but not too bad. I can't wait to see what set-ups come from the Reedy race soon! Those set-ups usually work great for my area as well.

Oh....and I did smack the wall several times and got hit a few times by fellow racers and with the exception of me goofing off after a race on the cool down lap, I didn't break anything. The rear arm I did manage to break was due in part to the wood outer barriers. When I brought the car back to my table I had some nice red stained pine in the threads. So I guess I need to trim off some of the threads and STAY OFF THE WOODEN WALL!!!!!! LMAO

thanks brant,

I fully understand that aplication. What I dont like is the half a grand I spent on a new car just so I can bolt on the old geomitry. a strong set of arms is what I want not EA3, or I guess that I dont care if its EA3 as long they dont fall apart when some one farts! Then maybe I can run and race my now $600 dollar car after all the extras I put into it.

I turned the bestr lap in the main of 14.1
Also, I was finally able to get that 21st lap in the main as well. That track is so cool. I ran the same tires all day and the car got faster and faster! RP 30's fo course. Are you guys going to Jackson in 2 weeks?

I hope Losi is seriously going to beef up these arms. Broke my 3rd one today on a light hit. This is starting to be a love-hate thing with this car. It's like a great boxer with a glass jaw. I checked out a couple of track buddies cars. one a Corally and the other an Xray. Wow no wonder the Losi arms snap. Those other cars arms are way beefier.
Losi help us out here. Fix this please.

lol.... are you kidding me..... Drive a corally to find the real meaning of arm breakage

I've broken a few on my typeR. 1 when I first got the car, then went weeks without a break. Broke 2 last friday. They seem to be the kit ones though. The replacement's are doing good.
