The other is, I tried the 41 pulley in the car at the weekend to get more steering into the corner and raised the front diff, butt could not get the long belt to the tighten as I wanted it and was quite slack, anyone

To bad the person that actually drove it could have put some laps on it
But truth be told, the car with this setup on it was awesome and felt like no other car I had ever driven

Your car was the best car at this race.....I think you should have swapped with me.....or I should have hijacked the short arms and oneway

Lutz's car was also very good.......Brian what did it cost to get all those #1 spots on the starting grid?? JK...good job buddy

As we grasshoppers sit back in awe, we all whisper "Show us more Master Pookyt". lol. Seriously, how about shoo-gluing a piece of graphite plate to the side in question. Shoo-glue would give a little so if the impact is hard or soft enough only the arm would break not the whole side of the suspension? It would still require dremeling, Master Pookyt.

I'm already on this... I even have the carbon sitting alongside me at work. I'll be using epoxy to bond it on though, will make a nice neat job, and make the arm bloody strong where it appears to be needed. Hopefully I'll get some pics up tonight.

Regards
Ed

Some pics of my now carbonfibre reinforced suspension arms...

I "borrowed" some 0.7mm thick carbon sheet from work, and some 5minute epoxy resin. I've mounted a small strip on the front and rear of the arm, and then filled in the wheel cut outs with epoxy. Simple really... hopefully I won't need to do this for any other arms...

When you use the 41tooth gear you will need to have the diff rotated a bit more foward then regular up to get the belt tension right.

No idea on xxxs arms.

Cheers will bear it in mind, Have you tried getting a 130 spur on the car? as the spur is about 4/5 mm higher on the Type R
