How do get a solid front axle without damaging the pulley?

the new lcd's and rcd's work fine with the short arms. as posted above, flipping the pivot blocks over is all that is required.

you buy the spool pulley. if you can't find the type-r specific pulley, you can buy the regular jrxs pulley and remove the spool pads and install them in your type-r pulley.

I took one of the spool pulleys from the old car and ground out the hole until it was as big as the inside diameter of the built in pad. It then fit on the axle tube and is round as well. You need to take your time with this if it is the way you are going to do it.

You can also use a sharp reamer on the old spool pully so it will fit on the Type R, but go slow so you do not over ream the hole and keep checkin the size of the hole to fit snug on A3317. This took about 2 minutes.....

Since EA3 is more of a plastic - maybe boiling them will help?

Yo todd would boiling the EA3 arms make a difference and what is the procedure or right steps on doing this .

not Todd obvisously but don't believe you want to boil the EA3 arms. Boiling most likely will change the properties and demensions to some extent.
