So it sounds like we need about a 4.5oz tray to suit the heavy and lighter lipo users.

If anybody else has suggestions then let'm fly.

Would an alloy tray not accomplish the weight increase that we need? I know the one that comes with the car is plastic - maybe switching to an aluminum tray may be the ticket?

Now - we just need to have one made for us....

In the parts list they do have a carbon fiber one listed. I dont know if that would be heavier or not.

Hi guys

I see your talking about having the car at/over 51oz. here in the UK in the new 5 cell mod we have a lower weight limit of 1350g (47.62oz) so a different one would be needed over here maybe.

Changed where I placed the GTB for better left to right weight distribution, with the GTB front left the front left tire had lot more weight then the right. With the GTB mounted all the way back on the right the balance should be better; the GTB can be mounted closer to the center line of the chassis because the belt is not in the way.

Hamster--What we are talking about is to make a tray that is heavier for the guys who are running lipo batteries and are having to add 4 to 8 ounces of weight to be legal. Thanks for your thoughts though.

So Pook, I guess I can expect my body when you show up in LV, since I don't seem to need a carpet body at the moment.

yeah i get that, the point i was trying to make was the legal weight is different between our racing and ours, as we now run 5 cell at 1350g

So it looks like you brushless guys are only using a fan on the speedo and not the motor right? The reason I'm asking is that I am wiring up all 3 of my fans so I can plug and unplug them as a set. Plus it looks like you cannot use the outer fans if your running the brushless set-up.
