We here in the UK don't use foams, as peeps moan that they 'Chunk' I personally prefere rubber racing, none of the role out stuff and truing tyers every run. We ran in a series called the STCC at the weekend http://pasadena.directrouter.com/~clubmans/sys/ and they have a cotrolled tyre made by Corally and are very durable and last all day, 3 rounds and 3 finals and still are good at the end of the day for practice at the next venue.

My problem is those early experiments don't translate well with RC cars. They have no elbows to touch behind their back...

No wonder there aren't many women in racing......

It's good to see Losi loading up with talented drivers. Someone needs to challenge XRay, and what's left of Corally!

On the Horizon site they list two diff. front and rear arms for this car. The parts list that came with the manual says that A-2223 front arms & A-1217 rear arms are EA3 ($7.50). Am I wrong? Horizon does'nt list them as EA3. They also have two other part #'s A-9862 rear & A-9742 ($11) front arms as EA3 . What gives? Can any Factory/team guys clarify this? Did the kit come with plastic or EA3 arms? Why does Horizon show diff?

Please let me know how you get on. There will be a guy there called Dion, pretty good driver with a 007 in 19t see how you fair against him, but please let me know how the car feels.
Cheers Malc

LOSA2223 and LOSA1217 are the long front and rear arms and they are EA3. THe LOSA9862 and LOSA9742 is the original JRXS arms that are EA3. Sorry for the confusion.

todd, does the asphalt setup included in the kit use the long arms or the short arms? would that setup be a good starting point for speedworld?

i plan on picking up my kit in the next few days.

also, the inner suspension pivots work with the long arms and the short arms? do you just flip them over?

I'd run the set up that Todd had at Ripon for the regionals. It was dialed. I have always run the same set up at Ripon and Speedworld.
