Good point Ron, I will check the whole situation out later today after I get me kit.

Just remember that Pook, Live Wire will flow if you keep the supplier happy!!

Talking Parts

I am worried about parts. There is a race comming up at Coral Springs, FL next Sunday March 31st, and I'd love to test the Type R on our asphalt tracks...but what if something breaks!!! What if I loose a Caster block, or steering knuckle? Anyone know where we can get parts? I called Steve at Speedtechrc and he has no parts in yet, and doesnt know when they'll come in, although he says he has ordered a big lot...

If you use a Futaba 9550 servo, you may need to cut the grommet that the wires come out of just a bit to accommodate the servo mount. It's impossible to use the spacers in there even though the manual says to use one for Futaba servos.

I may just sand down one of those spacers a tiny bit to free it up.
If you haven't fixed your problem yet. Make sure there isn't any material trapped between the bearings and the aluminum. Then make sure your bearings are fully seated. Sometimes they are a little snug going in. Good luck.
