Is there enough room on the chassis for a standard size RX w/o having to put it on it's side? If it is tight I will just pick up a micro for it, but was hoping not to spend anymore money then I have to.

There's two metal washers (A3253) that are supposed to go on either side of the layshaft between the bulkhead and the pulley. I can't seem to use one on both sides, there's not enough clearance. Is there something I'm missing that I should be looking for? Without the second one in there, there's a little bit of play from side to side. If I force it, it binds up the layshaft.

I had to dremel the PRS spur gear adapter a bit to make enough room for the pin. It seems to be slightly longer than the groove in the adapter. Just a heads up for anybody planning to use that part.

I was just messin with you since I don't have mine yet.

They must have redesigned that part for it used to be clips, not washers. Used to be a clip on either side, not both on the same side.

I still am w/o Type R, but it is sitting in the FedEX warehouse here and should be at my shop tomorrow. I am not in any particular hurry now since my Carpet track closed due to landlord issues. So I have no place to run it this weekend anyhow.

I did how ever get my brand new PDub bumper for it today, so I am set that way. I noticed on the parts list on Horizons site there is no oneway listed at all, is the old one a carry over or just no new one developed yet? I am guessin if the old is a carry over Pooky will be keepin his and Tom will be on his own!!

For those that got their kits, are they still including a center oneway or is it just the center spool and you have to do a front oneway now?
no one-way accessories are included.

There's spacers that go on each side of the bearing that are in the bulkheads.

You might not have the spur gear on correct or something. Both of the E-clips went on rather easily on the kit I built today.

The only modding I had to do to the kit was small filing of the rear hubs so theres no binding and it was pretty minor to begin with, but when ya build kits for friends and the hobby shop I try to be picky.

Nice kit!

The eclips went on okay, but the pins between the washer and bearing have trouble on the non-spur side. If I force it in there, it binds. I'll check again. Nice diffs.

The shim thing seemed to be a tiny spacing issue caused by the PRS adapter. I got it straightened out. With the diffs in the low position, the front belt was rubbing on the chassis a little. A tiny bit of filing fixed it.
