VW- Ron is a Losi employee, stationed at the HQ and a team driver, that's how!

I don't know why people don't think this car will be well on rubber tires. Look at past results between Hodge, Dumas and Francis(I know he's retired now) the car has done well on all surfaces. And this is the only car that I can think of that doesn't require purchasing another kit to run on a different surface. The same chassis and topdeck are used successfully on all surfaces.

If the car is indeed released on the 20th as the Horizon dealer site says, that would make today... 2 weeks.

thought i'd share with those interested here ....

the type-r i buildt and raced was the result of a "test" build from a hand picked, bagged, and boxed car. to ensure all parts were in the bags etc...

I got mine reserved (for a while now), I've taken a break for almost 2 years now, partially because the XXX-S doesn't like the big batteries without some modding and 1/12th didn't "do it" for me (mostly because of the foams).

I am excited and glad I will be too busy for the next couple of weeks. That should make the wait go faster.

I hope the long wait is to build up parts supplies, as mentioned, it's been a while and I'll probably crash... alot.
