ok i was looking and i couldn't find anything on this... so , i have a ft tc3 and i run sorex rubber tires and my track is opening a elec. stock touring class using foams. so , my ? is what foam tire combo and brand of foam tires are the most used ? like what company has the better tire. yok,trc,jaco,elligi,ect.... for right now we race indoor on carpet, then in the spring/summer it is outside ....

Gator, the most common compounds that people use are TRC Plaids (Jaco Orange Purple) and TRC Purples (Jaco Purples). Sometimes people will run a TRC Cyan and a TRC Magenta.

As for which one is better, people will have different opinions. The two companies that I have mentioned I have had good experience with them.

yup. trc plaid front and purple rear is it. now we've all been using the jaco's in the same compound since trc moved to the ugly yellow dish wheels. but really, you won't find anything else where we race for 1/10 scale.
