I don't doubt it, but the club I race at doesn't currently recognise the 13.5 motor as a stock equivalent - I know a couple of the guys are looking into it so maybe that will change.
The lack of grip where we race levels the field powerwise, the 24K rpm limit seems to work really well as it gives close racing with the brushed motors. The Novaks with the 5800Kv motors seem to be working really well whilst the Spheres seem to require careful gearing to avoid overheating. We have two LRPs that have runtime problems although the other guy (not Chris) definately has suspect cells - the brushless setup seems to be no more efficient than the brushed as he's dumping with around a minute to go in out 7.5 minute race the same as he did with the brushed 27t setup.
I'm an LRP man, the only Novak controller I ever liked was the Cyclone
JMO - from what we've seen so far at the track the Novak seems to be easier to gear and more what I'd expect for a club racers powerplant.
I think we're agreed on the 13.5 unlimited thing.
