what brand of tires is best for street racing? good grip and less wear(is that how you spell it?)?

what kind of tires are good for carpet racing also?

For carpet racing, Sorex tires are definatly the best. Depending on the track conditions, you should start with 20R's in the rear and 24R's in the front with HPI Red or Sorex Firm inserts. If you have too much traction, go with 24R's in the rear and 28R's in the front.

For running in the street, you can run pretty much anything. Just get a hard tire, like the Sorex 36R's or 40R's and they will last pretty good.

As for carpet - mo hit the nail on the head for rubber tires, but for foam - stick with either TRC plaids or Jaco orange/purple up front and TRC or Jaco purple in the rear

For asphalt, Try the Losi 7702Y with HPI green inserts on Pro-line inch up wheels. I raced a whole summer on one set. They aren't belted so they last a long time.

For carpet, I was using Take Off 22's and they rocked. KT Hobbies has them cheap

try sorex 32's on asfalt,or what I run,, take off 27's pre mounted or with jaco inserts grn...these will hook-up!!
