I'm curious; sounds like Andy used a brushed motor in the first final?

I think Paul might well be correct. I didn't look at his car, but i remember thinking at the time that he was running brushed in that final.

I suspect it was just to be sure of the "feel" in the wet conditions of that run. I know before the meeting he said that he planned to run brushed in the wet.

Right, Andy Moore used brushed in the first A-Main, because his brushless system was not water proof.
He used brushless in the second and third A-Main.
Marc Fischer won the first A-Main with brushless in the rain.

That explains that then!!

I ran my GM brushless in the wet (with sensors disconnected as instructed), as it had been waterproofed. It was absolutely fine. No problems.
