Racing in the rain is a blast though. I did it a few days ago for the first time. Although I fried a speedo (old one, so no biggie) it taught me a lot.

my vote is for Hupo Hönigl. How much bad luck do you have to get appendicitis during the World Championships when you're sitting 2nd qualifier so far.

In my opinion, nobody wants it, or deserves it as much as Hupo.

go get 'em brother.

Anyone could win it, seems wide open. Teemu, Marc, Moore, Grainger, Drescher, Hupo. The list goes on.

as the weather for now is only rain ( for the whole day ) It definitely needs a very well prepaired car and with all electrics protected as much as possible.

This will be the 3th euro's in row now with much rain !!

It looks like someone has been praying for rain with a very direct line !

I have to disagree with you From 2002 that I follow Europan races unfortunately they were done under rain
Switzerland 2002 all days
Austria 2003 finals were on dry track
Sweden 2004 few hours dry
Denmark 2005 only on practice it was dry

Let's hope this year it would be a dry event!

Nick
PS:
Is it possible for an moderator to make it sticky?

Hi,

some information from the track.
Ranking after the 3rd practice run:
1. Andy Moore HotBodies Cyclone
2. Teemu Leino Schumacher MI2 EC
3. Ronald Völker HotBodies Cyclone
4. Chris Grainger Yokomo BD
5. Thomas Pumpler HotBodies Cyclone
6. Jonas Kaerup Asso? TC?
7. Steen Graversen Tamiya TRF 415 MSX
8. Jilles Groskamp Xray T2
9. Hupo Hönigl Tamiya TRF 415 MSX
10. Andreas Myrberg Xray T2

Tack was dry for group 7-12, then rain again.
Fastest lap 14.2 by Andy Moore.
2 heats will be counted. Even if a group didn't had a run in dry conditions.
There are again discussions about tire additives in the rain and according to my information the use of additives is restricted now.
There seems to be a lot of smoke... A lot of guys have trouble with their electronic.
The tech inspectors are really strict and wings have to be cut down, the ride height as to be adjusted,...
I'll post more info in 2-3 hours. The first round of heats should be finished then.

Cheers
Chris
