Gearing Help Tamiya Sport Tuned Motor (Black Can)
Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone can help with ideal gear ratio for the Tamiya Sport Tuned motor. I am led to believe these motor's are sensitive to gearing and am hoping someone can give me an indication of what "over-geared" is for one of these motors in a 1/10 touring car?
Thanks,
Brad

Kevin you need to change that sigline to Sold....
As for gearing 2 years ago for TCS the number between the magic smoke and no magic smoke was around 5.5 if I remember correct.
Slide for a recommendation for your track not sure but I would gear down bsed on howw much smaller your local track is compared to Tamiya America. I know Canadian TCS runs a mandated 5.7-5.8 max gear ratio.
