Default XXX-S GP VS Tamiya Evolution III

I have both cars sitting new in a box - I cannot afford to keep both. I want to have the most competitive car to race with. Our tracks include indoor and outdoor tracks (small to medium size - not alot of straight away action). Locally I can buy Losi Parts anywhere - Tamiya I have to order but usually get them next day!

In your opinion which is the better car??? And Why???

capricess, what STLNLST meant was go for the LOSI since you can get parts for it anywhere. Imagine if during a race you broke something on the EVO 3 which you or any other racer doesn't have a spare of...end of raceday for you. While with the LOSI you could just go "anywhere" and buy the part.

Yup. Go with the car that has the most parts/setup support at your track if you are just starting out. Here it would be the opposite, the Tamiya would probably have better support.

At least you can run the TCS series with the Evo3.

Talking

naaah... just go for a car that makes you feel goooood.

whether that be a ugly but good car with loads of parts;

or a trick-looking CF based car - that's already winning races - and which you can buy parts for online...

is entirely up to you.

i agree with jwwu
goes right back to the fundamental principle :fun
if u aint having fun/lovin ur car what's the use of having a spare part immediately?
next day aint too bad...just order in advance
personally i still find it hard to like the XXX-S simply bcos it doesnt look appealing to me.but this is just my preference....u can be exactly opposite.
AND PLS LOSI guys dont hose me
