Default Speed mind foams

Are they supposed to feel kinda dry and rough when i get them new?

Out of the box, foam tires can feel a little dry. Try taking a pass on the tire truer and see if they feel a little more alive. Also give them a dose of your favourite traction compound and see how they are afterwards. The real test is on the track and not your hands, however....
