I'm no expert on brushless, but breaking in a brushless motor doesnt make sense to me.
On the charger thing i dont think you can go wrong with the New LiPo version Orion Advantage, I also think the ICE does LiPo.
Do a search.

Brushless don't need breaking in as there are no connecting parts.
As for the charger either the ICE or the orion advantage are both very good chargers.

One thing about the orion, people have complained that the user menu is hard to use, just something to bear in mind.

After a day's worth of usage, you get the hang of the Orion. I really like mine.

I quite like mine too actually, and dont think its hard to use.
But ive seen more than a few people say they can't get to grips with it. If its this guy's first charger it might be a bit confusing.

Thea Team Orion Avionics charger is pretty good. I have been using it as it can can charge my Platinum LiPo pack, receiver packs, LiPo transmitter pack, and my NiMH race packs (5 amps). It is very small with a nice screen and pretty easy to use.

Unlike the Advantage Carbon, you do not get the motor break-in feature, discharger, and some of the other small things. But it does what a charger needs to do. And it is priced well.
