I'd say all of Masami's testing probably went out the window as soon as it rained on the track.

I personally know that I was not at the race and therefore I won't speculate on what did or did not happen and why.

BTW, they might still speak Latin in some places in Italy, but most people would agree that LATINAS are from Latin America.

Earlier than that!

Since there was a threat of rain, the track was not prepared at all for the Worlds. It was sugar watered for testing.

I'd like to know where you get your information from, Masami tested at the warmup and at the weeks test. The same length of time as Marc, Gilles, Surikarn, Pumpler etc.
I know cos I was there testing also as part of Team Yokomo. Masami was simply beaten by the better driver on the day. Andy did an amazing job.
