Greg, got a scida on your peeta? Whack it off, whack it off.
There's a lot of alcohol flowing at most of the big events but the vast majority of the time it's all after the days racing and doesn't really effect the race itself.

I thought at Snowbirds the alcohol was very free flowing (some were drinking in the pit area as well), but other than that most races are pretty decent. Sure, guys go out and have fun when the day is over, but I consider those guys to be off the clock at that point.

2 years ago at the Reedy race, a Pro Driver got tossed out of the race for drinking in the pits. I was there and saw it happen. Now I don't drink, but I can't see needing a beer that bad personally...

Yeah, but he doesn't remember much after the first round and until he gets off the plane though due to his over-intoxication issues.

Jon, I have a new nickname for you. Striker...TED Striker. Since you have a drinking problem and all

not sure who you are, but somehow there must be a misunderstanding here. What you write is definitely not the case, but no reason to argue.

I know David since a very long time and consider him as a personal friend, you can be sure I try to fulfill all his wishes.

I forgot to congratulate Paul L. for a great result.

He may not drive for Orion/Peak but he is a good guy and a great racer regardless and deserves a well earned podium.

Paulie have a "tayco" you earned it. LOL!

@bill: glad I was able to help, this is what I'm for at the races...

Btw, I think the commentator wasn't soo bad. He just jumped in as far as I know, there was no announcer planned for the event and Pieter was helpful to take the job. Imagine how boring it would have been without an announcer?
