My ride purchased about 3 months ago, i'm new to the sport, this thing has taken a lot of beatings and hasnt broken anything. Great car, easy to set up and seems to handle very well. Scuse the mess all over it I havent cleaned it since the last race (should do for photo shoot but oh well).

The Academy has always been a nice car however its always been plagued here in the states by poor distribution not only of the kits but parts as well. Also there isn't much support on the Internet for it either so it is somewhat forlorn. Add to that, other cars that are similar (shaft driven) that are now on the market with better support; Tamiya EVO 5 & Kyosho TF-5.

Again, if only someone online (other than MRC) can support it then it may be worthwhile, however there's even more support for the odd brand "Scythe" through Kenon Hobby than there is for this car.

The STR4 Pro11 comes with a spur adapter specifically to suit any brand of spur. I am running a Kimborough spur on my car so all you need to do is buy a 64t spur of the size you want and use the adapter.

Heavy, whats UP! I see and hear you to as well like this car. I could have not made a better choice for a sponsor with these guys. The car is so smooth after a little mods to the bearings and a few little details. The car really blows my mind when I drive it on ozite. I tell everyone however, its still a carpet queen. If anyone needs anything or setups, let me know. I'll be in and out of the fourms here.
