Bean has been working hard on that sedan. I cant wait till he gets a wheeler. I am really interested in seeing one up close. Next spring I would like to get one and it is between this one and the bj4.

Its good to hear that GLEN BEAN is busting his butt on the MRC/ACADEMY TC. What do you think of the car LAWTON? Just want to say thanks to Glen for all of his hard work and looking forward to many years of continued support.

We had a major track overhaul, surface wise so we all had to start back at zero right when he got the car. Its not a bad car, this coming from somone who doesn't like shaft drive sedans. The car seems beefy, and should be very durable. Its too bad the road rails are gone now we could have done some flight testing. Overall the car looks good, the one thing I didnt like was the spur gears. They seemed a little iffy. I am really looking forward to seeing the 4wd buggy up close. What is the price in comparison to say a bj4? With the current hub design, would it be hard to convert it to use losi 4wd wheels?... Ive got a bunch left over.

RC TECH is the best RC FORUM.

However, RC FORUM also just made an Academy English forum.

http://rcforum.co.kr/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=17

I don't know how many people will use it since RC TECH is the best.

I think having one more extra forum for Academy would be not bad for users.

If you can, use our forum too.

thanks

Default Does the STR4 Pro2 share any parts with the Pro4?

Does the STR4 Pro2 share any parts with the Pro4? That car looks like some parts could be interchangeable and I was just curious.

bxpitbull - The STR4 pro2 doesnt share any parts from the pro 4 without some modification. Im currently using a pro 4 aluminum spool in my STR4, but i had to shave down the bearing stops to allow the bearings to slide in further on the spool.

Im sure there are other parts that might possibly transfer over, but I truely havent tried to modify anything other then the pro 4 spool.

I have some updates comming for the STR4 that I will be posting in the next few days after I dig out all my notes from the weekend.

Thanks beaner (that sounded a lil racist ). Not that I had to resort to such means (yet), but the cars bear a striking resemeblance AND considering the Pro4 is discontinued, I am always looking for other cars that I can borrow a part from here and there if need be. Thanks alot.
