TRINITY's new DPD discharger

2 Attachment(s)
No need for power supply, runs off of 2 AA batteries. Battery clamps into the holder, no more screwing into the battery. Menu is super easy to navigate. 5 amp linear discharge and 30 amp pulse. 4 or 6 cell internal. 4 to 9 cells thru the external alligator clips. Adjustable voltage from .2v to 1.0v per cell. When battery is done it provides average voltage per cell, internal resistance and run time. Rumor is its gunna be cheaper then the muchmore unit. Feel free to ask any questions.

jeff do you have a manual for this?

-what are the quality of the buttons like?

- can you put in 6 loose cells to do matching?

- does it do de-crystalising? can you hear the cells click?

thanks

Jeff Cuffs 06-20-2006 09:22 PM

We are currently finishing up the manual right now. Any questions ill prob be able to answer it. Yes it does pulse the cells and yes you can hear the clicking. Im not sure about the loose cell question but ill find out tomorrow. Button quality is top notch just like the discharger.

Prolly obvious stuff but...

When it reaches cutoff V will it hold the cells there?

30 amp pulse discharge through internal (individual cell) as well or only through alligator clips like dynapulse?

And the ever popular "when will it be available"?

Thanks.

There was a thread on this, price is 135.

Jeff Cuffs 06-20-2006 09:28 PM

It does not hold the cells at the cutoff set point. Its a 30amp pulse per cell and u also can do it as a whole pack thru the external alligator clips. Acouple of weeks it should be available.

U r correct street price is gunna be around that

XrayFK 06-20-2006 09:30 PM

Does this unit give all the information (av, mah, ir) in one discharge? Having to do a pulse and linear discharge just to get all the numbers would be a pain ;)

after the cycle is done this is the screen that will show u all the info

Berkky 06-20-2006 09:38 PM

jeff, can i suggest that you guys make a quick video/mpeg of the functions.(a bit like what duratrac ice has ~ and look how much that has sold) its really a much simpler way to explain the features it has/does

Jeff Cuffs 06-20-2006 09:40 PM

ill suggest it

Berkky 06-20-2006 09:51 PM

just wondering.......

why in screen 1, the internal resistance (R) of the individual cells equals 24.9 (=3.6+2.7+5.0+5.6+4.1.3.9)

But on the next screen it says internal resistance is 25.3 mOhms

(i assume screen 1 and screen 2 is from the same discharge cycle)

Jeff Cuffs 06-20-2006 09:58 PM

the pics are from 2 diff discharges. just wanted to give u guys a idea of what it will show
