Motor Lathe shims
I have been looking for shim material for my because it appears that it needs to re-shimed my question is where to get some either locally or on the net.Any suggestions?

my local hobby stores have metals from K&S Metals. usually in the airplane or supplies area. tubing, solid stock, and flat 4x6inch sheets of brass and aluminum. they usually have a label showing the thickness of the sheets. you would have to cut them out with sheet metal cutters.

Thanks bud I sent them a email since I don't know where in ohio that I can get it hopefully they can point me in the right direction

Depending on how little or much, you can use anything thats the right thickness.. ive seen guys use a wrapper from a ciggatette pack to get .05 more out of the bit .. As long as you dont over crank, they shouldnt compress..
