Default LiPo vs NiMh….

I see the pro cars, trucks and boats still using NiMh are they better than lipo?
What’s the difference in flight lipo and car lipo?
I have searched the net and see there are a lot of boats not using lipo like this http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/rec...eaking_120.htm
Is there any reason not to use lipo I thought they where better newer technology, less weight

very

On LiPo, they are getting better every day.. The key is the case around them, like with the orion, this makes the pack very safe... for the bumping and hitting (boat across the water, and TC). In the case of Car and Trucks, it is just a matter of making them legal. I think this will happen very soon.
