What diameter do you make your wheel out outs in a TC body? Also, I've seen some folks leave the top 1/3 of the rear wheel cut outs intact (looks likes and old caddy). How does that help?

leaving the rear part gives a little more strength for running mod motors.
as far as wheel cut outs, I like to mark where the centre of my axle is, then from there use my OLFA hole cutter and cut out a few mil from the outside of the tire. From there, I poke at the body to see if it gets hung up on the tires and trim from there. I dont leave extra body in the rear tire location as my body does not require it for 19t.

For my rear wheel arches I measured where the axle was when the wheelbase was set short, and when it was set long, then basically score the two arches and where they meet in the middle at the top (there will be a slight V shape left due to the two separate circles not being lined up). Just trim this out with a knife.

Make sure when the body is pushed inwards past the tyre that it will not catch on it as this will cost a lot of time if a marshall has to sort it.

pick up a circle cutter makes it alot easier too, just score the bodie and you can rip out a perfect wheel well

Thanks guys... I already got a circle cutter.. I was curious what dia to set it at. But I like the tip on cutting 2 arches for different wheelbases for the same car.
