TEAM ORION PRO LCS
Just bought a brand new Orion Pro lap count system and having a few problems with it. It has a new battery in the unit, but does not seem to pick up the IR signal.
The small IR transmitter fits on the bodyshell with one lead going into the main car reciever and another lead having a small light on the end. Should this light up when the car is switched on, as at the moment it does not. There does't seem to be any communication from this unit to the main reciever box at the side of the track.
It is too easy to say the unit is broken, i think i am not setting it up correctly. I would really appricate it if someone out there could take a little time to give me a step by step guide to using this item as it seams to be a great bit of kit.
Thanks in advance for all your help and expertise

You need to tape the led to your aerial tube, so that its pointing out through the side window. The path between it and the actual lap counter needs to be clear.

Do you have the transponder number set on the counter?
