Default Stratus

Is anyone still running the original Stratus I ,have heard that it will push but I used to run it like everyone else and it didn't then,. Why now is that all talk because the pros moved on, or is there merit.

I won't say the Stratus isn't good. It's just not good enough! Everything in RC is an evolution, not a revolution. The newer bodies work better because of lessons learned from the older ones.

Do they work better? How much slower would I be with a old Stratus than I am with my 3.0? The statement better is that an opinion or a measurable fact.

I have an original stratus that I still run from time to time and it feels pretty good. I do notice that I end up on my lid more though..kinda strange. Evolution doesn't always mean better, just newer.--Al
