That has gotta hurt with the current gas prices!
You forgot Bentley and Lamborghini!

Your fault.

Scrap the gas guzzler and get something real.

We are paying § 6.89 for a Gallon of fuel, BUT we don't spend more on gas than you do because we drive fuel efficient cars.

My A6 3.0TDI has 225 HP with 480 Nm of torque, runs 260 km/h and gets 35 mpg when I'm in a hurry.
At US speed it does 45mpg.

AND it's a much better car than a god damn truck....

Its all about Lables.....In the Marketing of products....If one name is taken another one needs to be used....Plus consumers are big on Freakin lables of products they buy.

For instance with Lexus....Its a Freak Toyota rebadged as a Lexus....all parts are Toyota but consumers dont want to pay 60k+ for a Toyota but will for Lexus(the up sale of a name)......Marketing

AH who cares.....buy what you want LOL

Batteries are another item.
Look at the Intellect 4200.
Available as an Intellect, a Yokomo and the IB4200 (Trinity)!

Yeah - but the States hasn't caught up with the EU yet.

You guys hve the NASTIEST (in a good way) small vehicles, fuel-efficient, powerful as hell. Here, they would probably get a brain tumor trying to replicate it. I work for a cruise line, so I've been to the EU many times.

Amazing vehicles, that they wouldn't even DREAM of allowing in here.

Damn shame, too.

Stefan: I'm stuck with it for a while. Next vehicle is a VW Jetta TDI.

Only Diesel to be had in the states are the mercedes (Too expensive), VW Golf/Jetta/Beetle, or a truck. Audi does not bring TDI's here.

Technically, it's VW/Audi/Porsche/Bentley/Lamborghini, isn't it?

Did they finally get Rolls, or is it still (I think?) BMW's?

Right, but not here. Here, the TSX is not a re-badged Accord, like the Lexus ES330 and Toyota Camry.

Also, there IS no Acura in EU, correct? All under the Honda umbrella?

yep...real funny how Americans will pay more for a name and most other countries are willing to pay more if the product is better not because of the name..

I wonder how much of Airtronics domination of the r/c car scene has been due to the name?..
