It will adjust / alter the dampening of the shocks. In the front, moving to the outside will reduce steering while increasing dampening. Moving inside will add steering, but decrease dampening. In the rear out side will decrease traction and increase dampening, inside increases traction and decrease dampening.

Leaning the shocks in will also decrease the crispness of the cars response, the car will feel lazy to steering input.

changing shock angle changes the leverage the arm has to compress the spring.laying them down has a softer feel through the corner because it has more leverage to compress the shock causing the shock to absorb most of the weight transfer to the wheel.standing them more verticle will give you more side bite because it is harder to compress the spring and transfers more weight to the wheel rather than being absorbed by the shock.a car that has the shocks stood up too much can have a very twitchy feel.you need to find the angle that is good for your track.start with them stood up and then start angling them in until it feels best.
