So Marc smiled after his race was over- BFD. Some guys storm off the drivers stand and some guys just smile when things go bad under high stress situations- I know 'cos I do exactly that.

Barry,

SWEET, You must have been going fast with the new ride? Can you give us AE fans some insight on the "Rummors of a belted AE TC???" thread.

Thanks

Was it the first, second, or third tangle ? Marc was faster than Hara, Hara was blocking the crap out of him to get the win. So Hara's blocking was what really decided his own fate. Yeah, I was there and saw it live too. So Marc was smiling because he got the win and Hara was not becuase his best blocking efforts did not ensure him the win. Oh yeah, and it was after the third contact in the turn leading to the esses by inpound that Mark pulled his car off. Not after the hit everyone talks about in the sweeper just so those who were not there know.

Oh well, on to the next race. Heck, I got taken out on the first lap of the G main when running second. What will people say about that ? Tough luck, that's racing. Right ?

For the rest, it was one awesome racing weekend with great battles from the invite drivers and the open mod and spec racers. I can't wait for next years event.

Good Job Josh, I think it was the knock from your fall with your Evo, a sudden "I see the light kind of thing". Now time to change that avatar with a Nissan something. Congrats on the win, just keep at it!

G main in itself is pretty tough. Better luck next time

I just want to say how impressive the top 30 guys were in spec. They really stepped it up this year. I thought I had a pretty fast car and couldn't come close to those guys. The E main was the best I could do. There were a lot of guys in the 13s. I remember a few years ago waiting all weekend for someone to get a lap under 14 seconds.

Congrats to Travis for his win. He was strong all weekend. A-Main 1 was a lot of fun to watch. That was some great close racing between Charlie and Travis. Unfortunately, some over aggressive drivers took Charlie out of the second so Travis ran away for the win. Great run though Charlie!!!
