HELP! Quasar Pro Charger and Micro Battery Pack?
How do i hook up my micro battery pack with hpi connector to my Quasar Pro Charger??? Assuming i need to buy some adaptor since it only has alligator clips?

You could buy some new HPI connectors and use the half that your micro pack plugs into,
solder some flying leads onto that (if it doesn't come with leads attached) then use your alligator clips on the ends of those.
Or if you only use it to charge the mirco pack,
cut the alligator clips off and solder the HPI connector directly to those.
hope this is of use

ok, yeah that's what i was thinking. But the alligator clips each have two wires attached to them. One thin and one thick. Why is that, and do both need to be solderd to the hpi connector?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Do not modify your charger

Do not remove any wires or clips from your charger. Just make an adapter with a matching plug to fit your battery pack. Make one wire about 2-4" longer so the clips cannot touch while charging and short out.

Has a micro plug on one end an a Tamiya plug on the other. You can put your clips on the Tamiya end or plug straight into a charger with a Tamiya connector.
