All I know is the inserts in the tires that some with the car are like the foam inserts you get when you buy HPI street tires that look like weatehr stripping. I ran them and noticed that the insert started to bunch up. So I went and bought some CS-27s. With the stock setup the car pushed on power. However the car is something I got to just play around with.

ok,so far i have stripped 4 of the small pulleys that run next to the spur gear.where the pin goes into the back of the gear the plastic just cant handle it.

is there an alloy version?

other than that the car was a great little thing to drive in mod with the brushless

i did a few laps with a 540 in it and it was good but didnt have the steering of the old xxx-s.and had some on power push. with the mod motor it had great steering and the harder i drove it the better it was.it actually handled alot better with more power and faster speeds.

just gotta find a fix for shredding pulleys and diffs

Venom

Car looks great. I'd spend a little and step up to Deans connectors for the battery (don't cut both wires at the same time) and I'd also think about wiring the motor directly and eliminating the bullet connectors. It's cool that you don't have to spend alot of money to have fun!!!

Does the body in the kit come with 3 different wings? Also someone had asked earlier but I haven't seen a reply yet... Is there a kit with the Mazda body?

Car comes with 1 wing and only in the Stratus body style. Or without body at all.

Anyone having any trouble with the steering throw.

How tight should the belt be? The factory settings seemed to tight and made alot of noise.
