"Yes, I have been reviewing one for a magazine. The car is fantastic - just planted in Stock Class and is fairly competitive too in Modified. In fact, with a Monster Stock motor in the Cyclone S, I was only a few tenths slower then the top Modified guy (Mi2EC) in fastest lap, and quicker over the run!!

Just built my Cyclone S kit. Very impressive from box stock and its price. The quality of design and material has improved compared to the TA05. I cant wait to run it tom.

It is most certainly available. At least I know its available in Australia and New Zealand, and I would bet that everywhere else it would be available as well seeing that Australia is usually one of the last to get RC stuff.

I like the looks of this kit. It looks like a BMI kit would fit. Can anyone that has built one, confirm that a plate chassis will be a direct fit?

How come theres a delay on the UK release Frank?

My LHS phoned Mirage on Tuesday to find out the release date (they were told 4th Septemer was the date they were due in the country), but weren't told why the UK batch has been delayed.

It could be shipping delays from Asia to Europe, I don't really know but that's what I would guess. Guys in Australia and NZ have them already apparently, and it's starting to appear in the US.

Asia -> US ship time is about 2 weeks
Asia -> UK is about 4 weeks

Add Customs inspections/delays, plus processing time at the HPI hub and it all adds up... I don't know when they were shipped but we should be getting them soon. I believe shops have already been able to pre-order them.

All of the Cyclone options are direct fit, so you should be alright

for the guys already running the "S", are you running it with the stock rubber shocks? or did you switch over an aluminum set from your other kit/s?

on the pic from franks post they don`t look like rubber to me
they look just ali in black

I'm told the shocks are plastic, but they are threaded. The XRAY team seem to be doing fine with plastic shocks on the T2

so that's not a big deal in my book.

As long as they are threaded they should be fine...

At least you wont have to put any of those silly plastic spacers in.
