Appears is correct - it will be interesting to see if the parts are actually included in the box or not. For $175, I would guess not. I'm sure the "bling" upgrades will be just that... upgrades.
this is what we need in this hobby more entry level cars around the £100.00 instead of all these £300.00 ones
young blood is needed not stuff for the top 25 drivers in the country (figure might be a bit out )

It'll be good for the carpet guys. Now you won't have to buy a $450 kit then, buy a ball diff, locked center pulley and a 3mm chassis and top deck to get a decent car. @$200 bucks I'll give one a shot.

Jolly, you know its gonna be £199. Still looks like a good buy though.
if mirage make this so , then guy`s will go online instead to get a good deal
if it is 199 that`s only 80 short of a blown T2

Well I bought a car since my last post...BUT damn only $157.00 for a Cylone S??? Very cool...I shouldn't have sold my Pro 4 and I'lll my parts! When/where in the US will they be available...and for $150.00?
The one advantage the S will have over the TA05 is likely going to be weight.. a TA05 in stock form gets to 1600g with current gear..
The S is based on the Cyclone, a racer as it is, and replacing most aluminum with plastic can only make it lighter..
I think it'd be easier for HB to provide universals, something already produced, instead of having to make dogbones and new axles...
If it weren't for parts (or lack thereof), I'd just grab one to whiz around the carpet for that price..
The T2R seems to be going the same way, but is keeping a little more of its original form at a bit higher cost.. I guess we'll be seeing a "Cyclone S vs. T2R vs. TA05" thread soon..
[quote=ROBORAT]its available here in our part of the world (Manila) as well. They cost only around $145 locally. damn thats cheap! hope this helps the hobby grow!
....QUOTE]
that is cheap... even cheaper if the US/peso exchange rate is good.
may have to get one of my relatives to bring me a kit or two when come to the US for a visit..

rc-zombies: yup, it is cheap indeed! the $145 was actually assuming a P53:$1 exchange rate but it could even be better. Action Hobbies is the shop that carries it locally. have your relatives check the place out. They have a shop in Greenhills and also one at The Fort.
