Default Modified motor

just wondering what kinda mod motor are you all using? And have anyone used Yokomo S-world mod motor?? how is it???

I think most people is using some Reedy Ti based mod motor. Comparing the S-world with Reedy Ti, which are better??

Thanks for any input.

I've been using a mix of P94's and Ti's. 13x2's 12x2's 11x3's have been my favorite at my clubs track. I want a D5.

My personal faves have been the Orion Core Touring and Core Modifieds, and I also want to try a Trinity D5, they look to be very fast.

I have a Core Touring in my XXX-S and a Core in my B3. They have lots of torque and can be geared a couple of teeth higher than the Chromes. My Chrome Touring 11x3 is still one of my fastest motors!

Has anyone noticed that Hara is running the Core Modified in his touring car rather than the Core Touring?

Schumacher, that's a really useful site It's nice to have a fair comparison!

I think my Core Touring 12x1 high speed could be quick, but it seems to have poor efficiency so I can't gear it high enough. I'll get a 10 turn armature for it and see how it goes then (Our Club has no motor limit btw, so I'm not cheating)
