I look Forward

I have only driven the EVO and the 418 indoor and only two days long, that`s all. But must say the EVO went really well and fast. To measure lap times I did not come, first had to find a good setup for both cars.

I see you have attached a fan and how? Did not see? I have a MuchMore Fan 40x40 and MuchMore fan mount on. Does not fit well but it`s ok.
I used a trf418 belt tension mount and screwed my fan onto with a spring washer. No issues works perfectly fine and I believe it is the r1wurks fan.

Did I read this setup correctly? C/XC up front? I have never seen this much sweep on any setup before. Possible mistake? Just curious.....

Cheers

You can run the Evo with 39/16 and 40/16 internal ratio, but I wasn't able to use the Spool with the 40, so I build my car with 39/16.
I hope Tamiya will bring alloy outdrives, that's the only thing I'm missing.

Here you can see my car for ETS Hrotovice:

And the TB04-Diff in my Evo5:

Hello guy's, any idea if the gear-diff will fit my eve-iv (4), like to have a gear diff

Best regards, Eric

As you can see on the car, I use two Suspension Mounts.

I do not know how to write it down but it's C front and rear 1C-1XC. I thought to write XC and everyone knows because I have never ever seen split XC blocks.

Greets,

Does the EVO 5 16T Bevel pinion gear (51255) work with the EVO 4 Steel ring gear (53721)?

Cheers

the tooth profiles are all the same throughout the TB range. it will just be a matter of shimming and spacing. never personally tried it but should work (the gear is aluminium)

just tried it, fit right in on a tbo3 spool. might need additional shimming for ring gear cause of the dish shape on the back of the evo4 gear moves the gear away from the pinion gear. try to show pics but they are here in my rc tech page
