I have the manual now here, and all i cant find any extra info of a recomended body as in the download manual.

On page 2 "Required items" is a picture of the NSX Body, and on page 20 "Attaching Body". Thats all i can find.

The NSX is a good choice, if you're not in too much of a hurry Tamiya is releasing a 2007 NSX body soon. Another option but I'm not sure about legality for the class you're running would be the Subaru Legacy B4.

Why are SD cars considered passe? I think they are still extremely competitive. I wish people would still run them.

If you notice the trend, in the end 90's to mid 2000's, belt drive car dominate the RC scene like Yokomo MR-4TC, Tamiya TA03, TA04 etc. Then there was a shift of focus into shaft drive again eg. AE TC3, Yok MR-4SD, HPI PRO4, Tamiya EVO III, IV etc... then the shaft drive cars got butted again.

The cycle will just go on... when brushless and lipos are now changing the RC scene eg. Brushless system for 1/8th cars...

We will see a return of shaft drive cars again ...

Thanks all on your EVOIV vs EVOV info. When I bought my EVOIV I got a really good deal on it from TamiyaUSA ($250 bucks US) can't beat that! I think I will pick up the EVOV.... can't resist......must buy....EVOV..... I enjoy building the kits as much as racing. Thanks everyone.

Dear EVO5-drivers,

it is easy to understand that you are really loving your cars - but still, if any of you happens to think about selling his/her one @ reasonable price, please let me know... ...I really would like to test EVO5 in our national '19T-class' (which is actually a brushless 8.5/9.5 class): http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=200667

Don't know if anyone noticed but on the Tamiyausa web site the EVO V is listed as being discontinued!

Fortunately I did pick one up before they really become hard to find.

This is a good idea (that you pick up one now), because i think that the next Evo will not came in the nearer future.

But how knows?? (Hopefully)

Otherwise its saves my money, because if there will be came the Evo6, i know, i cant resist!

Greetings Blueman.

The EVO 5 is a great car!

I'm running my new EVO 5 at the Snowbird Nationals in Florida in Nas-truck class.

That would be cool if they make an EVO6. I would hate to see tamiya completely stop doing high performance shaft drive (even though the current trend is belt). What is interesting is they are still producing the EVOIV, which is also a great car.

I cant belive that they still produce the Evo4? This doesnt make sense, but i ma sure that there will come an Evo6. But the question is when ???

But the 5ér is still up to date, and hey we dont have to buy the short rev. arms like the 415 and 416 guys

Greetings Blueman
