And EvoIV uses EvoIII diff outdrives. TB02, TB02R, TB EvoIII and TB EvoIV all use the same diff outdrive.

today i rebuild my rear diff and i noticed 2 of the balls were missing.....does this matter?

Yup, they'll fit.

As for your diff question, it won't help. You'll probably find the pressure in the diff changes during it's rotation with balls missing.

ok thanks, and i also noticed when i brake my car makes a weird crunching noise.....(im running a front oneway)

check your bevel gear spacing... sounds like you are skipping teeth under braking.

ive checked them, there all fine, do you think its got something to do with my diff? because the brakes only apply to the rear wheels when running a front oneway

another quick question, is Tamiya Anti-Wear grease any good for the bevel/oneway/diff gears?

I understand the best stuff to use is the white ceramic greese. Personally, I wanted to try McLube (a dry teflon spray-on lubricant, used on boats), but never got round to it.

With regard to the gear slipping... could be a diff issue, rebuild it and see what happens.

hey guys,

i got another problem with my diff

, when i was driving it lasted for about 1 minute, then when i brake the car would just roll freely, and i was only running FWD. I figured out the screw holding the diff together came loose, but if i tighten it, it would work for a minute or so then just does the same thing over and over.........any solutions?
