Hey Jimmy, he's still for sale! I lowered the price to $290 and included some spares... So grab your chance!
Check: Tamiya Evo 5

Hey,

Has anyone got a chart, table or something that tells you what 48dp gears you can run in the tamiya Evo5, because i know not all combinations fit because they hit the upperdeck etc........

Thanks

Anyone got a nice pinion/spur 64p (0.4 module) table for the evo5?

I can tell you that a 48P 98T spur with a 19T pinion is extremely close to hitting the upper deck.

Is that a typo? If it's 48P, you will struggle to get anything bigger than a 78T in.

I think there was a 73 spur on the car when you got it. I wouldn't use one much bigger than that - I think 76-78 is the biggest you could fit without sticking through the chassis but I felt that 73 was the biggest "safe" gear to use.

With the 73, the smallest pinion that I got to fit was a 19, as for the biggest, I know a 32 fitted with heaps of room to spare.

Sorry, cant help you out any more than that - I only used the car for stock and 19T so I used pretty much the same ratios for both 27 -32 range.
